Digital Transformation
Switch instruction in the Logic Extension
In this preview of JDE release 25, a Switch instruction is added to the logic extension. This new Switch function simplifies the structure needed to compare whether the same value is equal to different options. In this way, instead of using multiple if-else conditions, a single Switch structure can be used, allowing multiple decisions to be constructed in a more orderly and readable way, especially in scenarios with many possible paths depending on the value of a variable.
The Switch statement is based on defining a set of statements called case, each associated with a specific value to be compared with the evaluated value. When the instruction is executed, the system checks each case in order until a match is found. When a match is found, the logic associated with that case is executed and, generally, the evaluation of the other cases is interrupted.
Additionally, a default clause can be defined, which acts as a default option. This clause is executed only if none of the defined cases matches the evaluated value, ensuring that there is always a defined behavior.
EnterpriseOne Pages: Widget Pane
As part of the evolution started with the incorporation of widgets in EnterpriseOne Pages, announced in April this year, a new enhancement has been introduced that extends the customization possibilities: the Widget Pane.
This new feature makes it easy to add a widget pane to composite pages using drag-and-drop actions. Once the pane is inserted, the user can select the widget to be displayed, which facilitates the creation of interfaces adapted to different business contexts.
With this enhancement, it is possible to design more dynamic and functional pages, whether single or multiple panels, that integrate critical business information in visual formats such as graphs, indicators, badges and text blocks.
The addition of the widget panel reinforces EnterpriseOne's commitment to flexibility and usability, giving users more powerful tools to effectively visualize and manage their information.
Allow system values in the "orchestration" input defaults.
This enhancement extends Orchestrator's capabilities, allowing inputs and variables used in an "orchestration" to take as default values information coming directly from the system, such as the current date, the execution environment or the identifier of the user running it.
For example, when designing an orchestration that requires an address book number, it is now possible to configure this data so that, by default, the number corresponding to the user executing the process is automatically assigned.
In addition, for inputs and variables that handle dates, dynamic logic can be applied to set values based on the current date adjusted forward or backward, either days, months or years, thus facilitating the automation of processes that depend on variable time ranges.
This functionality optimizes the customization and automation of orchestrations, making processes more agile and adapted to the context in which they are executed.
Improved workflow message formatting
With this enhancement, messages generated in workflows can incorporate more complete visual elements, such as text with different styles, tables and graphics. This allows information to be presented in a clearer and more attractive way, improving communication and facilitating interpretation during process monitoring and control.
System Automation
Order to Cash with Warehouse Process Model Template
A new Process Modeler template has been introduced enabling the generation of an Order to Cash process flow integrated with warehouse picking, based on sales order activity rules and UDC values for the picking process.
This functionality supports:
- Efficient control and coordination of task flow and sequence.
- Visualization of key KPIs and metrics at critical stages.
- Identification of potential bottlenecks or issues that could impact operational goals.
Process Definition Application
The new Process Definition application allows process flows to be defined using values from UDC tables instead of traditional Order Activity Rules. This enables the Enterprise Process Modeler to generate customized flows, connect parent and child processes, and store definitions independently of fixed rules.

Fixed Asset Post Error Report Displays Errors Only for Batches Being Posted
When the General Ledger Post Report (R09801) runs the Fixed Asset Post Program (R12800) to generate fixed asset costs, the Fixed Asset Post Error Report (R12800E) now displays only errors associated with the batch being posted.
This improvement enables faster and more focused error identification by limiting information to the relevant batches
Capital Asset Management
Automated Planned Finish Date Calculation for Maintenance and Service Work Orders
Scheduling of work orders is improved through the automatic calculation of the planned finish date. The system compares estimated hours with downtime hours, selects the greater value, converts it into days based on the workday calendar, and adds it to the planned start date.
This functionality reduces manual effort, lowers the risk of errors, and helps avoid scheduling conflicts, promoting consistent planning aligned with operational capacity
