Digital Transformation

Enterprise Process Modeler: User-defined models, metrics, and analytics

In this preview of the April 2026 release, the capabilities of the Enterprise Process Modeler are expanded to offer greater flexibility in the definition and analysis of business processes within EnterpriseOne, allowing users to configure a process model, as well as the associated metrics and analytics, for any business model that has data in the EnterpriseOne system.

For example, users could configure a process model, metrics, and analytics for the lifecycle of a lease, for the onboarding process of new suppliers, or for tracking the stages of a work order.

Thanks to this enhancement, organisations have greater flexibility as they are no longer dependent on predefined models, enabling them to adapt the analysis to any business process. Furthermore, visibility and control over processes are improved, incorporating more advanced analytical capabilities through customised metrics and analytics. Overall, the ability to configure customised models, metrics, and analytics broadens the view of processes across the entire organisation, providing a clearer and more comprehensive perspective of its overall operations.

Iterating over Forms within a Form Request

This new feature enhances the Form Request functionality in orchestrations, allowing an orchestration to design one or more forms to be iterated over or skipped within the scope of the Form Request.

For example, when entering kit orders, the user must access the order form and, for each line item, open the kit order configuration subform to enter or validate the kit components.
In this case, the user can create an orchestration that automates this process, so that for each order line, the corresponding subform opens automatically, regardless of the number of detail lines the order contains.

This enhancement reduces the need for additional logic and significantly simplifies the automation of repetitive processes in EnterpriseOne.

Form Extensions for Power Edit: Data Extensibility

This new feature significantly enhances the ability of Form Extensions to customise Power Edit forms, allowing users to add data items to Power Edit and its subforms directly from the business views of the form and subforms themselves. For example, the EnterpriseOne Health and Safety Incident Management module provides the Incident Master application to manage incident-related information.

This application includes Power Edit forms with numerous subforms and a large number of fields in each.

Although the standard data items available in these forms and subforms are usually extensive, with this functionality, the user can add new fields, such as category codes or user-defined fields, directly from the business views. This improves the system’s flexibility, allowing forms to be adapted to specific business needs and facilitating the customisation of information managed in EnterpriseOne without modifying standard objects.

Transfer error messages from failed steps to orchestration variables

This feature enhances Orchestrator’s exception-handling framework by allowing the user to store error information from a failed orchestration in a variable, so that this information can be passed on to other steps in the orchestration.

Users can create rules, custom scripts, and logic extensions to detect errors in critical steps and handle them appropriately, such as by taking an alternative flow or reporting the error via a message.

For example, a user has an orchestration that calls an external REST API; the call fails, but the error can be passed to an orchestrator rule, which redirects the execution flow. Similarly, if a form request returns an EnterpriseOne-type error, the user can pass the error to a message and send it to the corresponding corrective action.

This enhancement increases the robustness and flexibility of orchestrations, allowing errors to be managed in a more controlled and structured manner, and facilitating process automation even in scenarios where failures may occur during execution.

Enhanced pop-up experience in EnterpriseOne

This feature enhances the hover experience on EnterpriseOne pages by providing a user setting that allows you to enable or disable tooltips. In addition, the information displayed on hover has been condensed into a more concise format, giving users the option to access more detailed information. Finally, a two-second delay has been introduced before displaying the tooltip, with the aim of reducing visual clutter when the user moves the cursor across the page.

Oracle Guided Learning for Orchestrator Studio

This feature integrates Oracle Guided Learning with Orchestrator Studio, allowing users to create content that helps other users learn about Orchestrator’s features and capabilities, providing a step-by-step guide to completing workflow tasks.

Alignment of controls in extensions and custom forms

This feature enhances form extensions and custom forms by allowing the designer to align controls vertically and horizontally with precision within a form.

System Automation

Package Build History Web Application

JD Edwards administrators can now run the Package Build History application from a web client. The web version of the application has the same functionality as the standard Heavy Client version, including the ability to review and reset specific package build statuses, as well as resubmit a package build to complete any incomplete or failed steps.

Web OMW: BrowseER

This enhancement allows customers to access the traditional BrowseER functionality of the Heavy Client via the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne web client, including viewing and printing Event Rules (ER) for an application or report.

Optimisation of Media Object Attachments

The process of adding media object attachments has been optimised to make it more efficient and faster when there are a large number of attachments.

Improvements to Self-Service Password Reset

This feature allows customers to use customised email templates to include corporate branding, contact details, links to policies, and content in languages other than English in password reset notifications. It also provides a seamless login experience following a reset, offering faster access to the default environment.

Configure the number of previous passwords when resetting them

Customers now have the flexibility to set the number of previous passwords that users cannot reuse when resetting their password, in line with their organisation’s security policies and preferences.

Security

Support for TLS 1.3 with Oracle AI Database 26ai

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne now supports TLS 1.3 for connectivity with Oracle AI Database 26ai when the Enterprise Server is running on Oracle Linux, enabling customers to benefit from enhanced security and performance for their sensitive data.

FUNCTIONAL Enhancements

Apps

Sales Order Management
  • Reversing dispatch confirmation for stock items: The process has been improved to allow the dispatch confirmation of order lines that have not yet been invoiced to be reversed. This simplifies error correction by automatically restoring inventory levels, resetting commitments and returning the lines to their pre-dispatch status.

  • Release of credit holds regardless of total exposure: The credit hold release programme (R42550) now allows a portion of held orders to be released up to a cumulative amount that does not exceed the credit limit, even if the customer’s total exposure exceeds that limit.

  • Processing of zero-commission records: The system now allows you to enter, track, and update commission records with zero or blank values. This makes it easier to monitor sales staff and assess their performance across different reporting periods.

Team Management
  • Preventive maintenance scheduling tailored to user preferences: Organisations now have the flexibility to configure custom maintenance frequencies using user-defined codes. This allows maintenance plans to be aligned with specific operational or seasonal requirements, thereby extending the lifespan of equipment and reducing downtime.

JDE CU R26

Finance

Adding new credit cards following cancellation or replacement

The expense management module has been optimised to allow multiple credit cards to be added per employee (including cards of the same type). This eliminates manual processes and streamlines financial control when existing cards are replaced.

Locations

Poland – KSeF compliance for the processing of incoming invoices

The KSeF ID and timestamp for supplier invoices can be captured and stored directly in the lookup tables, ensuring compliance with Poland’s national electronic invoicing system.

Brazil – Implementation of the CBS and IBS recoverable taxes

It enables the identification and recording of recoverable federal (CBS) and state/municipal (IBS) taxes upon receipt of goods or services via purchase orders, ensuring compliance with Brazilian tax regulations.
