What integration options does JD Edwards EnterpriseOne offer?

JD Edwards Orchestrator is the biggest innovation developed by Oracle to date to provide ERP with greater integration with, for example, the Internet of Things (IoT) world, cloud services or third-party applications.

Notifications

Notifications are a set of features in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 that improve efficiency in all business processes and workflows through effective communications of critical events to end users. The user no longer has to be in an active ERP session to receive alerts, but can also receive them via email, notifications or SMS.

The configuration of these notifications does not require technical programming. Through the Orchestrator Studio you can centralize the creation and configuration of notifications that users can then subscribe to.

Notifications can range from simple notifications with links to applications, through notifications linked to standard or customized Watchlists and ending with Orchestrations-based Notifications where the possibilities are endless.

Oracle is promoting and betting on the use of notifications and this can be seen in the latest release of tools 9.2.3 where a Notification Message Center and an E1 page My Worklist are presented to facilitate the user the management of these notifications.

To use the functions, they must be included in any of the events of the JD Edwards objects and in this way be able to reuse the same portion of code that includes the operations that they perform in different objects.
